If the construction industry is where you want to build your career, you will hit the ground running with UCOL's New Zealand Certificate in Construction Trade Skills Carpentry strand.
With this programme you will build your practical skills and get the knowledge required to become a carpenter in the building and construction industry. The first part of this programme covers the basic knowledge in construction trade and the second part focuses on courses related to the carpentry trade - trade mathematics, hand tools, and project work related to different aspects of the construction industry.
You'll graduate work-ready with transferable skills for a wide range of construction-related trades.
UCOL is currently running the New Zealand Certificate in Construction Trade Skills (Carpentry Strand) Level 3 in Turangi.
Expressions of interest for the next Construction cohort are being taken at any time with a tentative start date of May 2022.
The course runs 3 days per week (Monday – Wednesday)
This qualification is an approved Trades Training & Apprenticeship Funded program so there are no fees to completing the program for 2021 & 2022 and hopefully beyond.
