Sue Hawkins

Sue works at the intersection of industry and vocational education, partnering with employers to ensure NZQA assessment standards, credentials and qualifications reflect current and future workforce needs. She has held engagement and advisory roles across the tertiary education system and is known for building trusted relationships and influencing at senior levels. A trained teacher with a Bachelor of Education in Adult Education, she believes in the power of education to change lives, organisations and communities. Outside of work, Sue enjoys spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, Hazel.
