Manager - Petroleum & Geothermal team at Worksafe NZ. Over 20 years working in a regulatory role, he has been with WorkSafe HHU since January 2015, where initially held the position of Specialist Inspector Petroleum & Geothermal until August 2019 where he was promoted to Manager - Petroleum & Geothermal. Prior to joining WorkSafe he worked as a discipline specialist health and safety inspector within the Hazardous Installation Directorate at the Health and Safety Executive (HSE UK) for 10 years. Before entering the regulatory environment, he spent approximately 14 years in the private sector working primarily within the power industry in the UK for several power companies, systems integrators and a brief period in float glass manufacturing. He is a Chartered Engineer in the Institute of Engineering Technology and has experience in Electrical, Control and Instrumentation systems, and a TUV certification in Functional Safety along with process safety and operations management, in technical and managerial roles.
