About the Event
Warm geothermal groundwater resources are distributed throughout Aotearoa New Zealand, encompassing areas from the central North Island and the Alpine Fault in the South Island to numerous hot spring locations nationwide, with accessible resources at depths of approximately 1 km across the country. Leveraging these resources is central to advancing geoheat opportunities and supporting New Zealand’s transition towards renewable energy solutions.
