About the Event

The Taupō Climate Project aims to provide a collaborative forum to foster climate-focused business ideas, innovations, and problems. By sharing experiences and working together, we can better understand and explore local climate projects.

Held at the Ngaire George Sustainability Centre, Mokai, hosted by Tūaropaki Trust and supported by ANZ, this high-energy day aims to bring together business leaders, innovators, and passionate community members to tackle the world's most pressing issue - climate change.

Through immersion experiences, workshops, and expert discussions, we will:

  • Share insights and best practices for sustainability
  • Build connections with like-minded people
  • Discover how this forum might work for us all going forward
  • Collaborate on actionable projects for Taupō and beyond

Agenda highlights:

  • Immersion Experiences: Explore innovative projects at the Tūaropaki cluster of businesses.
  • Special Guest Speaker - Steve Dixon ESG Specialist, ANZ
