About the Event

Building on the momentum of the 2024 workshop (Lessons Learned: Rotokawa Steam Hammer Incident), this session will continue to enhance industry understanding of Health & Safety practices by introducing Mercury’s transformative HazardID Training programme.

The programme is a cornerstone of our commitment to elevating safety culture across our organisation and the wider industry. It is designed to shift mindsets from ingrained assumptions of invincibility to a reflective, self-aware approach that prioritises professional, physical, mental, and social safety intelligence.

Through innovative, engaging, and culturally resonant training experiences, we aspire to empower our teams to recognise their shared responsibility in keeping each other safe. Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage in open discussions, share ideas, and strengthen collaboration between geothermal operators, engineering contractors, and other steam system users with a shared goal of upholding the highest standards of worker safety across the sector.
