About the Event

The aim of this workshop is to uplift the industry understanding in relation to the identification, prevention, and management of steam hammer, and associated health and safety risks. 

Here the team from Mercury, will share lessons learned from the Rotokawa Steam Hammer Incident, helping others to improve the safety of their designs and operation. 

The workshop will also provide the opportunity to establish the ongoing sharing of incidents, lessons learned, and best practices between geothermal and engineering contractors. 

This workshop may also be of interest to other steam system operating companies.
