Rather than focusing solely on financial products or complex jargon, this workshop explores our relationship with money, how our beliefs, behaviours, stress, upbringing, identity, and workplace experiences shape the financial decisions we make every day. Participants will reflect on the emotional and social influences behind spending, saving, investing, and the “why behind the buy,” while also gaining practical tools they can immediately apply to their own financial lives.

Through relatable storytelling, real-world examples, and interactive exercises, the session will break down the key foundations of financial wellbeing and wealth building in Aotearoa New Zealand. Designed specifically for emerging professionals and young leaders, the workshop aims to make money feel approachable, achievable, and relevant at the beginning of a career, when small financial decisions can have a significant long-term impact.
