About the Event

The current climate is proving challenging for many businesses. Discover hands-on how to improve value, eliminate waste, improve quality, increase staff engagement and boost productivity. A business simulation is used to demonstrate how Continuous Improvement / Lean Practices can reduce costs and drive performance in any business.

Find out what the benefits are from lean productivity practices whilst building Lego planes. In a fun and active environment, experience the progression a traditional organisation should make to become an industry leader. You'll come away inspired and ready to take on the world.

The Aeroplane Game© is a business process and manufacturing simulation which focuses on how those critical factors that we all know, go to make a successful business in a fun learning environment. While demonstrated in a manufacturing setting, the process improvement practices work for any process including the building industry, professional service providers, distribution and more.

Three of the topics that will covered:

  1. Customer value and the eight Lean wastes
  2. Improvement practices such as 5S, Visual Management and effective Teamwork
  3. How to lead Continuous Improvement for your team
