If you’re looking for Trade & Construction training & work experience at a geothermal power station near Taupō – check out Contact Energy’s new Ka Hiko programme.

This programme will put you on a pre-trade training course and provide you with on-the-job hours to help you get your certificates.  After that, Contact will help you find an apprenticeship or job with one of the contractors on site.

 

Contact Energy is working with contractors to provide:

 

– pre-trade training

– access to possible apprenticeship / employment opportunities

 

To be eligible, you must:

 

– Be able to pass a pre-employment medical check and drug tests

– Be physically able to demonstrate competency – climb and lift weights

– Weigh less than 135kgs

– Have the right to work in NZ
