NZ Geothermal Week 2022
We had a great turnout for NZ Geothermal Week 2022, despite the cold & wet weather!
This was Amplify’s second year of running this showcase of the NZ geothermal industry, which has the Taupo Volcanic Zone at its heart.
This year, the program offered 23 events concentrated over 5 days (25-29 July) wrapped around the NZ Geothermal Association’s Winter Seminar, with some events for schools extending into Term 3 (currently underway). Over 1,200 people attended events held during the week, with another 1,400 students expected to get involved with ongoing education and career-related events. A total of 12 companies hosted the various events, 45 speakers from 27 companies presented, and 46 industry STEAM Ambassadors are scheduled to visit 22 schools. It was a huge undertaking!
2022 Events
NZ Geothermal Week 2022 offered an exciting and extensive line-up of events for industry, education and community, including industry seminars and workshops, school outreach, open days, competitions, field trips and networking events. Be sure to register early, as spaces are limited!
