Operations, Sales and Reservations

In this diverse and fast-paced role, you will work closely alongside the owner, head guide, and trip leaders to ensure that the operation runs smoothly. This is a small family run company, and the successful candidate will be happy to work across all areas in the business. Due to summer being our peak season, you will need to be available to work through the Christmas and New Year period as well as public holidays and weekends. We do, however, close the operation on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day. The role will include but is not limited to:

– Answering general enquiries by phone, email and in person

– Front of house (checking in/greeting customers)

– Cash Handling

– Coordinating daily logistics

– Responsible for ordering all supplies

– Ensuring all online booking platforms are functioning correctly

– Social media posting

The successful candidate will need to be a quick, logical thinker and a self-starter. You will need to be able to work both individually and in a team. You should be proficient in using Microsoft Office and be comfortable on both a Mac and Windows computer. It would be an advantage to already have a background in tourism and booking systems, however, it is not a requirement. You will need to be available to start in September.
