Marketing / Comms & Design Interns
We are calling out to all graphic design and/or communications/marketing tertiary students who have completed (at least) their second year of study who would like to gain experience working in a dynamic economic development agency.
Our role is to grow the Taupō District economy and we have many different workstreams and programmes to support this kaupapa. You can check out what we do at www.taupo.biz.
There are three specific projects that require development and launching this summer season… a chance for an intern to implement their learning and translate it directly into practice.
The three projects include a mix of website development, graphic design and brand development, campaign development, copy-writing and campaign execution.
Whilst we don’t expect that you’ll have well rounded skills in all areas, copywriting, brand development
and graphic design are highly preferable.
As such, we’re expecting to secure two interns over summer – one with a strong communications/marketing focus, and one with a brand development/graphic design focus.
You will be well supported with a team that provide complementary skills and will have the satisfaction of seeing your work in the public realm over the duration of the contract.

The role is based at our office in Taupō and offers flexible working conditions.
To be considered, you will:
Be working towards a tertiary qualification and have completed at least your second year of
Be a self-starter
Have excellent communication skills
Be able to start the internship in November 2020.
Be willing to learn and get involved
