The Taupō Museum & Art Gallery and Taupō District Libraries are looking for someone to join our team for a fixed term, to cover maternity leave.
We need you to have a keen eye for detail, the ability to form and follow process and some expertise in the curation of general museum collections, in particular Tāonga Māori. You will need a sound understanding of mātauranga and tikanga Māori in a museum context but also a passion for the district’s heritage.
The Ngāti Tūwharetoa Gallery will be a key area of your position, rostered weekend and occasional evening work will be required. Previous applicants need not apply.
